PGCE leading to QTS

Do you want to take that next step towards qualified teacher status (QTS)? Aspirations Learning Institute, in collaboration with our delivery partners at the National Institute of Teaching and Education (NITE) at Coventry University, offers comprehensive initial teacher training (ITT) and professional development programmes (PGCE and apprenticeships) designed to create exceptional teaching staff.

1-year, full time PGCE with QTS (fee paying)

This Initial Teacher Training course enables candidates to achieve Qualified Teacher Status while gaining contrasting experience in two of our Aspirations academies. The fully mentored programme is available at primary and secondary levels. Candidates benefit from:

  • Practical, on-the-job learning guided and mentored by expert staff
  • Virtual training and academic research-led tuition through NITE: Coventry University

This flexible approach ensures accessibility for aspiring teachers nationwide, allowing them to learn and apply theoretical knowledge directly within their teaching environments while living locally. To find out more about our PCGE course and possible bursaries visit the Department for Education.
